In January my artist husband and I were able to spend a long awaited (by me!) day in San Francisco. I toted my gear as we gallery hopped around the city. You would think after living 6 years in NYC I would have been smart and would have worn sneakers on our outing. I didn’t. :/ Footwear has a way of fooling you about it’s actual comfort level. We walked from one side of the city to the other. For the record- next time I will not forget sneakers.
Oh- and cabs are wonderful things!
I had to stop and take a photo of the Westin St. Francis hotel. This was where we spent our first night as a married couple so it holds a special place in our hearts.
I’ll never forget the sight that first morning, in the early hours, looking out the hotel window perched high above San Francisco and seeing the city cloaked by fog below us. It was ethereal and fantastic!
In this blog section I will share whatever strikes my fancy. More often than not, I will be sharing my own original photos that I take as I go. Sometimes I will post things that are more informative from a photography standpoint. I do not limit my photography to portraiture or only flowers. I find the world offers so much of interest, we but have to see it! Sometimes I will allow you to take a peek into my photo library with photo that just I love, for one reason or another.
